Berwick, Pennsylvania: Drones circle Susquehanna nuclear plant, one triangular
On the evening of October 3, 2022, security personnel at the Susquehanna Steam Electric Station near Berwick, Pennsylvania, saw first two and later four drones enter plant airspace, one of them triangular with a large spotlight.
Background
At 8:18 p.m. security personnel at the Susquehanna Steam Electric Station near Berwick, Pennsylvania, observed at least two small drones with red and white lights enter plant airspace; the activity ceased around 8:30 p.m. At 10:19 p.m. security saw four drones entering from several directions, loitering around the plant perimeter and occasionally entering its airspace before leaving again. Three of them appeared to be quadcopters about 2 by 2 feet; the fourth appeared to be 3–4 feet in size, triangular and carrying a large spotlight. All had red, green and white lights, one also a blue light. The records were reported by Christopher Sharp in Liberation Times in April 2026. The account follows the entry in George M.
