Background

The 21-second video was uploaded to a classified network in June 2024 with the uploader-defined title 'Cigar Shaped or Fast Spherical UAP clip 15 OCT 22'; AARO assesses it as likely derived from an infrared sensor aboard a U.S. military platform operating in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility in October 2022 and states that the media was digitally altered before upload and is presented as received. According to the official video description an area of contrast transits the sensor field of view from left to right between 00:01 and 00:04, the video replays at a slower speed (00:06–00:14) and again at an even slower speed (00:15–00:21). The shapes named in the title are the uploader's characterisation; the platform, the exact location and the observers are not disclosed. The details are taken from the records released by the U.S. Department of War (record code DOW-UAP-PR053) and do not represent an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
