An unnamed military platform in the US Africa Command area of responsibility took a 31-second infrared video of a UAP in 2022. The footage shows an apparent heat signature with characteristics consistent with those of a physical object. However, the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) could not determine whether the observed signature originated from a physical source, as a thermal emission or a thermal reflection, or from another source such as a heat differential in the environment or a sensor display error.
