Central Ukraine: Bayraktar drone thermal camera records fast cigar-shaped vertical object
On 15 February 2023, the thermal imaging camera of a Bayraktar drone over central Ukraine recorded a single ultra-fast, cigar-shaped vertical object under 1 meter in size moving at about 560 mph on a straight trajectory; the Ukrainian analysis categorized it as UAP.
Background
On 15 February 2023, the thermal imaging camera on a Bayraktar drone recorded a single, ultra-fast, cigar-shaped vertical object in central Ukraine. The object followed a straight trajectory and produced no sound; its estimated size was less than 1 meter and its velocity about 560 mph. The final identification analysis categorized the object as UAP because of its small size, unusual shape and spatial orientation, ultra-high velocity, straight trajectory, and low altitude. The case is described by Artem Bilyk and Kyrylo Nikolaiev in the CTX special issue of spring 2026 on Ukrainian military observations of aerospace objects. The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
