Background

Mission report DOW-UAP-D19 (USCENTCOM, declassified 8 October 2025) covers a two-ship F-15E sortie of the 389th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron that took off from Muwaffaq Salti Air Base, Jordan, at 23:30 UTC on 20 February 2023 for defensive counter-air in support of Operation Inherent Resolve. Between 00:21 and 00:24 UTC the flight received radar jamming near Shaddadi at FL270, which the report describes as standard in that area. At 00:25 UTC the crew, cruising in a CAP at FL270, observed three possible UAP in the vicinity of Shaddadi at FL240: no radar returns were received from them, two white objects were infrared-significant, no health effects were experienced, and a weapon-system video was produced; nothing further to report. At 01:35 UTC the flight observed one possible balloon at FL210, again with video. Weather was cloudy; coordinates and callsigns are redacted. The report records both airsights without any identification. The details are taken from the records released by the U.S. Department of War (record code DOW-UAP-D19) and do not represent an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
