Aegean Sea: USAF special-operations ISR aircraft films small circular UAP skimming the sea
On 29 October 2023 at 08:11 UTC, while returning to its base at Larissa, Greece, a U.S. Air Force Special Operations Command ISR aircraft spotted a seemingly circular object, too small to make out details, flying just above the sea surface straight toward land at an estimated 30 mph over the Aegean Sea before it was lost from the feed.
Background
The mission report (MISREP 9337873, declassified by the USCENTCOM Chief of Staff on 22 January 2026) was filed by the 33rd Special Operations Squadron for a single ISR aircraft that took off from Larissa (LGLR) at 15:04 UTC on 28 October 2023, collected full-motion video and signals in the eastern Mediterranean overnight and landed at 11:05 UTC on 29 October. The UAP section records initial contact at 08:11 UTC on 29 October 2023 in MGRS grid zone 35S MV, event type 'UAP Incident', no manoeuvrability observations, no response to observer actions, observer assessment 'Benign', physical state 'Solid', propulsion unknown, under intelligent control 'NO', no signatures, estimated velocity 30 mph, no effects on persons or equipment. The description reads 'seemingly circular, too small to make out details'; the narrative states that while returning to base the crew spotted a UAP flying just above the surface of the ocean, that it flew straight above the ocean toward land, and that at 08:11 UTC the crew lost it from their feed. The companion video is DOW-UAP-PR35 (24 seconds, infrared). Aircraft type, callsign, tail number and exact coordinates are redacted. The details are taken from the records released by the U.S. Department of War (record code DOW-UAP-D35) and do not represent an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
