Arabian Gulf: USAF ISR crew logs two UAP sightings 41 minutes apart
On 24 October 2023 a U.S. Air Force ISR aircraft of the 50th Attack Squadron, flying from Al Dhafra in support of Operation Spartan Shield over the Arabian Gulf, observed one UAP at 02:41 UTC and a second at 03:22 UTC. Both were assessed as benign, showed no manoeuvres, and the first appeared cold on thermal imaging.
Background
The mission report (MISREP) of a U.S. Air Force aircraft of the 50th Attack Squadron (type, tail number and callsign redacted) covers a 20-hour ISR mission from Al Dhafra (OMAM) on 24 October 2023 supporting NAVCENT under Operation Spartan Shield. At 02:41 UTC, at flight level 243 on a heading of 280 degrees and 162 knots, the crew observed one UAP in MGRS grid 39R (remainder redacted); the entry records a solid object, 'thermal showed cold', no manoeuvres, no response to the observer, estimated velocity 320 mph, assessment 'benign'. At 03:22 UTC a second UAP was observed under the same flight parameters, estimated at 440 mph, with no signatures recorded. No sensor interrogation, engagement, effects or recovered material are listed; description fields are marked unknown. Earlier in the mission, at 01:45 UTC, the aircraft had received a professional guard call from Iranian air defence. The report was declassified by USCENTCOM on 12 September 2025. The details are taken from the records released by the U.S. Department of War (record code DOW-UAP-D23) and do not represent an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
