In February 2025 the pilot of a cargo aircraft flying at 15,500 feet about 15 miles from Fort Worth, Texas, reported a white, elongated drone passing about 100 feet above the cockpit.
Background
In the morning, roughly 15 miles from Fort Worth, Texas, the pilot of a cargo aircraft encountered a white, elongated drone. It passed approximately 100 feet above the cockpit while the plane was flying at 15,500 feet. In an Aviation Safety Reporting System report the pilot wrote that it did not appear to be a small hobby drone and looked maybe 3 to 4 feet long. The Debrief cited the report in May 2025 in an article on surging drone incursions into restricted airspace. The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
