Scientists analyze PURSUE video DOW-UAP-PR135 and interpret objects as birds
Six scientists examined infrared video DOW-UAP-PR135 frame by frame and concluded that the brightness pattern and movement of the six objects were more consistent with flying animals or birds than with extraordinary craft.
Background
The analysis examined a military infrared sequence recorded in the Middle East in 2025 and released with the sixth PURSUE tranche on September 18, 2026. Despite missing or redacted metadata, the authors focused on the periodic brightness changes of the six objects and proposed a conventional biological explanation.
Significance
The study is an early example of an independent scientific examination of an officially released PURSUE UAP video and illustrates how limited metadata hampers reliable identification.
