Background
The U.S. Department of War established a legally protected channel for providing UAP-related information to PURSUE. The waiver covers current and former service members, civilian personnel, and contractors who hold or previously held access to relevant National Defense Information.
For communications directed to designated PURSUE representatives, the measure supersedes specified civil and administrative enforcement provisions in nondisclosure agreements and Special Access Program Indoctrination Agreements. It is limited to this authorized channel and does not constitute a general cancellation of secrecy obligations.
The channel is intended to support systematic review, security evaluation, and possible later release of historical and ongoing UAP information.
