Tiberius Cavallo

Tiberius Cavallo (1749–1809) was an Italian natural philosopher and Fellow of the Royal Society, active in late 18th-century Britain — known for pioneering work with hydrogen balloons and aerostation, advances in electricity, meteorology and pneumatic medicine, including carbon monoxide studies. In a publication he described a peculiar aerial phenomenon or meteor shower that is cited in UFO timelines and Jacques Vallée's Anatomy of a Phenomenon.
