Bengt Nordenskiöld was a witness involved in the recovery of debris from Lake Kölmjärv following the "Ghost Rocket" incident on July 19, 1946. He was a Swedish Air Force officer who served as Chief of the Air Force from 1942 to 1954, with the rank of General. He was born on 6 September 1891 in Sundsvall, Sweden, and died on 28 January 1983 in Österhaninge, Sweden. He was the first Chief of the Air Force with pilot training.
