Short overview

An FBI FD-302 interview record from April 2025 with two former U.S. service members about an observation in June or July 2011.

Why this is interesting

The two men were pulling out of a driveway at around 8 or 9 p.m. when one of them saw three lights, got out of the vehicle and described a large dark triangle flying north, low to the ground, with a light recessed into each corner and a low pulsing hum. The record also captures why no footage exists: by the time he had his phone out, the object had passed behind the tree line. The rendering FBI-UAP-D029 is based on this description.

Selected passages

  • “triangle shaped object flying North”
  • “The object had a car-sized white light in each of its three corners that emitted a diffuse glow”
  • “The object was low to the ground, and creating a low humming noise that made a pulsing sound.”
