The Nuclear Materials Group at the Harry Reid Center of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, led by Thomas Hartmann, entered into an agreement with Bigelow Aerospace Advanced Space Studies (BAASS). Under the agreement the group was to analyze solid or liquid materials for BAASS. Eberhart dates the step to a season of 2010.
