Operation Inherent Resolve: reconnaissance flight reports a fast white, round object on its video feed
A U.S. Air Force mission report records, for 29 October 2025, a UAP on the video feed of a reconnaissance aircraft, described as a “white round orbit” with speeds of up to 500 miles per hour. The report and an infrared video were released in September 2026.
Background
According to the report, an aircraft of the 11 ATKS flying a mission at about 22,500 feet observed a UAP on its video feed from 01:41 to 01:50 Zulu; a party whose designation is redacted stated that it looked like a “white round orbit”. Speeds of up to 500 mph are noted, the state is given as “Solid”, effects on persons as “NO”; then the object was lost. The report ends by saying that no additional information can be provided at this time.
Aircraft type, call sign, location, sensor, the duration of tracking and the field “Observer Assessment of UAP” are redacted. The official data contradict each other on the year: the video’s description text says 2024, the report and the date field say 2025. As AARO stresses, the wording reflects the reporter’s impression in the moment, not a finding about the object.
