Susan Gough

Susan L. Gough, also known as Sue Gough, is a civilian spokesperson for the U.S. Department of Defense in the Office of the Secretary of Defense Public Affairs orbit. In the UAP context, she became visible through years of media responses, FOIA-related clarifications, and official Pentagon statements about the UAP Task Force, AATIP/AAWSAP, AARO, and released or leaked Navy imagery.

Her significance is not as a researcher or witness, but as an institutional communicator: Gough's statements mark what the Pentagon confirmed, corrected, contextualized, or denied at specific moments.
